The design for this mug is based on a large acrylic painting of a Buffalo (American Bison), with raised skulls covered in gold leafing. I based the skulls off the Ancient Bison that walked North America during the last Ice Age. I wanted to create a connection between the Buffalo that currently walk the lands around Yellowstone National Park & their ancestors from 1000's of years ago. Maybe this mug will help you make your daily connection to your ancestors or just bring balance to your day.
